2015 Comedy Day Social Media Success Story:
Comedy Day’s six-week, eight-site social media campaign — on Facebook alone — enticed nearly 7,000 comedy fans to click the “GOING” link on Comedy Day’s event page. Another 860 Facebook members expressed “INTEREST” in attending the event. Additionally, the Facebook campaign “REACHED” more than a half million people and “ENGAGED” nearly 10,000 potential attendees.
Besides Facebook, other social media sites employed boosted the engagement and attendance for the event. These sites included, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Comedy Day YouTube channel, Pinterest, Periscope, Google+, Comedy Day CafePress store, and of course, the Comedy Day website.
